What to do on a rainy day 07/14/2010
![]() Dorot is an organization for helping seniors. It's in New York City. I've added them to the thirty minute category because they have a project where you make a birthday card, send it to them, and they send it to a frail and isolated senior. This could be a great activity to do with kids on a rainy day, or with a youth group etc. Or just make one yourself and send it to them. Why not? A thirty minute break to do something creative is fun and invigorating. 4 Comments For the birds 06/14/2010

Added FreeRice. Not just vocabulary, either! Added Reader To Reader. [My day job!] Added One Brick. Good for those in their twenties and thirties I think. Added Save The Children's program in Ethiopia. It's interesting to see that they have made the sponsor relationship web-based. |
