Who protects the earth? Did you ever consider that the earth might need a lawyer... or a crew of lawyers? The motto of EarthJustice is "because the earth needs a good lawyer." Their mission is to protect the earth and to defend the right of people to live in a healthy environment. They maintain a list of petitions that you can sign after you have finished reading about what is needed to preserve our surroundings. They've been at it since 1971 and have a significant track record.

You're already sitting at your computer so please spend slightly less than 15 minutes today by watching a video from Free The Slaves. The website has a lot of options on it for both action and education, and I suspect you'll find something more you will want to do. Modern day slavery is an issue we don't know enough about. Watching this video will be a great way to spend your fifteen minutes, and then you can take it from there. This one is an eye-opener.
