For those who sew, I want to introduce you to Quilts for Kids. I just started learning to quilt a couple of weeks ago and I already feel like I could do this one. It might not take a month, but that's the turn around time they are asking. Take a look at the site, check if there is a local chapter for you. If not, click here. They will send you much of what you need! You will get the joy of creating the quilt, and a needy child will be comforted by it. Fun and worthy!!

This is a clearinghouse for UN Volunteers in their online capacity. I wish there were more opportunities listed and I hope it will grow, and that I can find more sites like this. For those of us who tend to be on our computers 24/7 this is a great way to contribute.
