Just added Child Aid in the $500 category. They are working in South America to to give children of the rural indigenous poor a fair chance in life. They have been doing this for twenty years and they partner with local organizations to be as effective as they can. Your money will go far there. Their website is colorful and informative. If you're a librarian you will be tempted to want to go there and help! (Says the librarian....)

PlanUSA is a great cause and I love some of the features on their website. You have to check out their Visit A Village page. I'd also love to hear suggestions of other sites that are using technology in unique and effective ways.
