Quilting, anyone? 07/25/2010
![]() This one does require a skill. If you sew, keep reading. If you have a sewing machine, keep reading. If not, go explore another page on the site. For those who sew, I want to introduce you to Quilts for Kids. I just started learning to quilt a couple of weeks ago and I already feel like I could do this one. It might not take a month, but that's the turn around time they are asking. Take a look at the site, check if there is a local chapter for you. If not, click here. They will send you much of what you need! You will get the joy of creating the quilt, and a needy child will be comforted by it. Fun and worthy!! CommentsSun, 25 Jul 2010 11:50:50 am I wish I could sew. It sounds like a good cause. (I mentioned your web site in my blog today) Mon, 26 Jul 2010 6:50:08 am What a great site! I have such a large fabric stash that this is a perfect way to use some of it up. When my daughter was at Vanderbilt we received a Linus project blanket for her and she uses it every night! :) Thanks for sharing and I will share your post on my site too. - slogsdon from swap-bot Sun, 08 Aug 2010 5:14:34 am My good friend organizes quilting kits in her quilting guild for this very thing! She was just talking to me about it yesterday and I have been thinking about giving it a try. Seeing it on your blog must be a sign.... Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
