For those who sew, I want to introduce you to Quilts for Kids. I just started learning to quilt a couple of weeks ago and I already feel like I could do this one. It might not take a month, but that's the turn around time they are asking. Take a look at the site, check if there is a local chapter for you. If not, click here. They will send you much of what you need! You will get the joy of creating the quilt, and a needy child will be comforted by it. Fun and worthy!!

What a great site! I have such a large fabric stash that this is a perfect way to use some of it up. My good friend organizes quilting kits in her quilting guild for this very thing! She was just talking to me about it yesterday and I have been thinking about giving it a try. Seeing it on your blog must be a sign....
