Dorot is an organization for helping seniors. It's in New York City. I've added them to the thirty minute category because they have a project where you make a birthday card, send it to them, and they send it to a frail and isolated senior. This could be a great activity to do with kids on a rainy day, or with a youth group etc. Or just make one yourself and send it to them. Why not? A thirty minute break to do something creative is fun and invigorating.

Hi! this is cricutcritter from the Swapbot swap. I LOVE your webpage/blog. I am an avid card maker/scrapbooker and find this an easy way to contribute. I already make cards for soldiers and cancer patients, I can add the elderly now !! thanks for all the wonderful ideas.
