I have five minutes.
1. If you're a fast reader, five minutes is enough time to sign a petition. An organization called Change.org lists petitions, sponsors for the petitions, and if you register with them it is even easier to do the next time. It might take more than five minutes the first time you visit this site, but after that it won't. Click here for a list of petitions to sign.
2. Five minutes is just enough time to help an organization spread the word through social networking. The GAVI Campaign does live-saving work by immunizing children in the 72 poorest countries. You can find out how to help them through Facebook or Twitter here.
3. Got five minutes? Like peace? Go to Another Poster for Peace and print out a poster or card for free and get your message out to the world. This is a site of copyright-free art for public use.
4. Like Twitter? Connect with Social Citizens. Millennial folks go here and get some inspiration going.
5. Trees For Life is more than just trees . It started with trees but like a tree it has branched out in so many directions. Spend your five minutes learning more about this organization by watching this short video here. If you still have a few minutes left, read more on the site. There are also opportunities to volunteer virtually with them!
